## Setup

1. In rotki, open Blockchain & Accounts → BNB Smart Chain → Add address.
2. Paste your address (the same address you use on Ethereum works on BSC too).
3. Optional: configure your preferred BSC RPC endpoint in Settings → RPC.

## FAQ

### How does rotki query my BSC activity?

rotki is a local application that talks directly to the BSC RPC endpoint you configure - the public default, a third-party provider, or your own node. The query goes from your computer to that endpoint without passing through any rotki-operated server.

### Is this the same as Binance the exchange?

No. BNB Smart Chain is a public blockchain. The Binance exchange is a separate centralised service, tracked through a different integration in rotki.
